Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo proved he has lost none of his silky skills and vision when he scored a stunning goal to help Al Nassr beat Al-Okhdood 3-0 in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday (NZT).
The 38-year-old chested down a loose ball and calmly lobbed the ball over the stunned opposition goal keeper Paulo Vito in the 80th minute at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh.
Vito, who had charged off his line to try and shut down an attack, could only turn and watch as the ball arced high into the air and dropped just beneath the crossbar and into the net.
Even Ronaldo appeared surprised that his audacious shot had found its target, before celebrating with team-mates.
It was Ronaldo’s 15th goal of the season, and came just three minutes after he had doubled his side’s lead.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward’s first goal was a powerful finish from a tight angle following a fine touch to kill a dropping ball.
Victory for second-placed Al Nassr was their 11th from 14 games this term to move them a point behind leaders Al-Hilal.
