A woman in her 80s was in critical condition and another woman was injured after the two pedestrians were struck by a car in Montreal North Wednesday.
They were walking in the parking lot of a business on Léger Blvd., near Langelier Blvd at 5 p.m. when they were hit. The woman in her 80s suffered major injuries, police said. The other woman was also injured, but her life is not considered in danger.

A security perimeter was erected around the site of the accident and investigators with the collisions unit were sent to analyze the scene.
