Victoria Opposition Leader John Pesutto says there was no Labor candidate in the Warrandyte by-election because the party is “scared” to face the community.
“They were so scared to face the people of Warrandyte, they turned their backs on the people of Warrandyte,” he told a media conference on Sunday.
Mr Pesutto said Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews “didn’t want to face” the people of Warrandyte during the by-election because he “knew what was coming”.
