Tash Peterson ARRESTED ‘bloody’ stunt at Perth butchery

Perth’s most notorious vegan Tash Peterson is back from her tour of European and already causing enough havoc for WA Police to come knocking.

In a video posted to social media on Christmas Eve Peterson is seen pouring ‘blood’ on the shopfront of a Perth butchershop before two employees try to make a citizen’s arrest.

The video starts with Peterson entering the Belmont Forum while wearing a shirt with the slogan “END THIS HOLOCAUST” featuring a picture of a caged pig and piglets.

A woman holding a TV playing images from a slaughterhouse follows behind.

“These are the victims of your Christmas meal,” Tash states while pointing at her shirt.

She then marches up to the Tenderwest Meats butchershop where she produces a bottle filled with a fake blood mixture.

“Is your Christmas going to be a holocaust filled with the bodies of murder victims,” Peterson yells.

A bearded man approaches Peterson and tries to march her off.

“Take your hands off her,” boyfriend Jack Higgs yells.

The bearded man then approaches the Higgs and ties to restrain him.

A butchershop employee is then filmed running out and restrains Higgs, “we’re making a citizens arrest for vandalism,” a voice can be heard saying.

A bystander who was also filming the conflict asks the employees to “let him (Higgs) go” and advising the butcher’s employees that “you’re allowed to do activism”.

“People are dying around the world” another bystander is filmed yelling at Peterson.

Security then evict Peterson from the store as she continues yelling her pro-vegan message.

In a follow-up video posted a few hours later, WA Police are filmed arriving at Peterson’s house asking for the shirt she was wearing during the protest.

“We’re placing you under arrest on suspicion of criminal damage,” a male police officer is filmed saying.

The home’s owner engages in an argument with police saying they can’t enter the home without a warrant.

Peterson then provides them with the ‘shirt’ before she is placed in the back of an unmarked police car.

“The saddest part about this arrest is that they seized my new shirt!!,” Peterson wrote in the video caption.

“Result of yesterday’s protest is one charge of “Criminal Damage” (even though the stage fake blood isn’t permanent and easily washed off, they have still given me this charge) and one charge of “Disorderly Conduct”. Court appearance is on the 8th Jan.

“One day the oppressors will be charged with the murder of non-human people. One day it will be ILLEGAL to eat non-human people and to exploit and enslave them.”
