One man is recovering from gunshot wounds to his face after a shooting in Surrey at noon on Saturday.
Surrey RCMP responded to a shooting near the 8900-block of 152nd Street and found a wounded 38-year-old man.

The victim was at a bus stop when he bumped into an unknown man on a bike. There was an exchange between the two, and the suspect then shot at the victim, hitting him in the face. The victim was treated at hospital.

Police are searching for a young white male, about 20 to 30 years old with a medium build, dirty blond hair and a light beard. The suspect was wearing a dark hoody, dark board shorts and carrying a purse as well as a blue bag with empty cans — and riding a bike.
The RCMP general investigation unit has taken over the investigation. RCMP say there are no links to gang conflict.
