Four people have been charged with in an alleged homicide and police are searching for a fifth suspect in connection with the death of a Windsor man who went missing in March.
The investigation into the whereabouts of 27-year-old Dalton Robert Bartnik began May 24 after police received a missing person report.
Bartnik was last seen on the evening of March 24.
Police say officers with the major crimes unit concluded Bartnik was murdered on or around April 1.

His remains have not been recovered and police have not revealed why they think the missing man is dead.
With the assistance of members of the Windsor police emergency services unit, investigators arrested four suspects over the last several days.

Jeffrey Dorman, 29, Elizabeth Gaudette, 38, and Nzingha Plumb, 24, have each been charged with first-degree murder.
A warrant for first-degree murder was issued for Daniel Gerow, 29, who is currently in custody on unrelated charges.
A warrant for first-degree murder has also been issued for Laura Cook, 21, who remains at large.
Cook is described as a white female, five-foot two-inches tall and approximately 130 lbs., with red shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

In addition, a 26-year-old man has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Earlier this yeae a LaSalle man was charged in connection with the death of 47-year-old Tony Bechara of Windsor in Belle River on Jan. 20.
Glen Mayer, 47, is charged with first-degree murder.
