‘Mad obsession’: Albanese govt must get away from renewables and net zero

The Albanese government needs to stop its “mad obsession” with renewable energy and get back to lowering the price of energy, says Nationals Senator Matt Canavan. “If we want to have any kind of manufacturing industry in our country … we must get away from net zero,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “Get back to lowering energy costs and investing in types of energy that actually work.”
