Senator Jacqui Lambie has slammed the Labor government for being “comatose” since the Voice to Parliament failed as Australians struggle with a cost of living crisis.
Ms Lambie’s remarks come as Coles and Woolworths are set to be grilled by a Senate inquiry into their market power and pricing decisions.
She questioned “where” the Prime Minister is amid the rising cost of living pressures.
“Those people – it’s like they’ve become comatose since the Voice went down,” she told Sky News Australia.
“Apparently the cost of living, when it comes to the government or the Labor party, is not important.”
