A former NFL player is fighting for his life after a tragic accident.

Despite earlier reports that Mike Williams had died after a tragic construction-site accident, the former NFLer is alive and on life support in Tampa, Fla.

Tierney Lyle, the mother of Williams’ daughter told the Tampa Bay Times that the former wide receiver “is still alive and remains on life support in hospital” after visiting him on Wednesday.
“They were waiting on me and (his daughter). We’re here and still trying to figure it out,” she told the Times.
“He was asleep when we went in there and he woke up when he heard our voices and his daughter’s voice. And he looked around, and he blinked and he was crying but he can’t move.”
Lyle also confirmed that the plan is to eventually remove Williams from life support, but it hadn’t happened.
