Audrey Turley, the owner of Cheltenham Gold Cup winning Galopin Des Champs in Prestbury Park on Friday, described her horse’s momentous victory as “a very nice cherry on an already beautiful cake”.
It was the second year in a row the horse claimed the win in the biggest race of the week at the Cheltenham Festival.
