It was a spring evening in October 2018 when Shivika and Adam had their first date at Petition in Perth’s CBD.
They bonded over their shared love of Taylor Swift and German Shepherds.
Two years later, in that exact spot, Adam asked Shivika for her hand in marriage.
The pair wanted to embrace both of their cultural backgrounds so they held two wedding ceremonies, one here in Perth and another in India.
When and where
Shivika and Adam held their Perth wedding on August 6, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton, before hosting their second ceremony in Hyderabad, India, on December 6 and 7.
Dress
For the Perth ceremony, Shivika’s wedding gown was from LDN Bridal in Mount Hawthorn, which is now closed. The bride’s Kanjivaram pattu saree, with handwoven pure silk and gold thread work, was from Hyderabad.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds opted for an adventurous honeymoon in Singapore for five days.
