As the court has not yet ruled on the basis of the class action, it has not yet determined whether compensation in favour of the plaintiffs should be paid.
The issues in dispute are whether Vidéotron was entitled to charge interest to its residential customers, and whether it was entitled to withhold an amount equivalent to payment for services not rendered after the termination of the service contract of other customers.
