Then there were two…Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa stand side-by-side at the top of the leaderboard once more, with both men having birdied the par five eight.
Scheffler did so with a nerveless birdie putt from 12 foot, while Morikawa’s delightful wedge shot set him up with a chance from five foot, which he duly took.
This is shaping up for a good old fashioned ding-dong down the back nine.
