Mustard’s Ex-Wife Was Seeking Over $82K Per Month In Child Support, Judge Upholds Pre-Nup
Chanel had been seeking upwards of $82,000 in monthly child support for their three kids, Kiylan, Kauner, and Kody, at a hearing earlier this year, The Shade Room previously reported. However, a judge ultimately ruled this week that Mustard will pay barely a quarter of that.
The judge also upheld Mustard’s, real name Dijon McFarlane, prenuptial agreement with Thierry, per Blast.
The outlet cited notable celeb divorce lawyer Samantha Spector as crucial in getting Mustard such beneficial terms.
However, the monthly amount is still higher than the $19,000 per month he was paying under a temporary agreement beginning earlier this year, as reported by The Shade Room in February.
No Spousal Support For Chanel, Mustard Keeps Homes, Cars, Royalties, And Jewelry
Meanwhile, under the terms set by a judge this week, Mustard will also get to keep his home, cars, music royalties, and jewelry. He was also allowed to keep his other properties, the court documents state.
Mustard told the court he would pay for the children’s extracurricular activities. The judge found in favor of him doing so as well.
Although his three children will receive the aforementioned $24,5000 monthly, their mother will not be receiving any form of spousal support.
Chanel had previously accepted a one-time payout of $315,000, per the court docs.
Mustard filed for divorce from Chanel back in May 2022. They had been married for less than two years, but dated as a couple for 12, before calling it quits.

A Brief History Of Drama Between DJ Mustard And Ex-Wife Chanel Thierry
However, Mustard and Chanel have not held back publicly about the case.
The former couple fought quite publicly since announcing their divorce. One lingering issue stemmed from Chanel allowing their kids on social media. Mustard claims she was exposing them to “predators” by including them in sponsored Instagram posts, Blast reports.
“He is concerned that publicizing the children may expose them to predators and unfriendly media, and he is also concerned that as mere children, they lack the ability to consent to the use of their images in a manner that will become a permanent feature of the internet,” his lawyers wrote, according to the Blast.
The judge ultimately let both parents post their children online. However, a caveat was put in place that neither one can use “disparaging” words against the other on social media.
The DJ had previously said Chanel was “stalking” him following custody exchanges, his lawyers wrote per the Blast.
“Because Chanel is so aggressive and hostile, Dijon believes that it is in the best interest of the children to have as few custodial exchanges as possible, and in fact, the parties’ week-on week-off custody schedule has been working well even though Chanel continues to use custody exchanges as an opportunity to stoke conflict,” the legal documents read.
For her part, Chanel seemingly threw shade at her estranged ex for screwing over his “day one” last year, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
What do you say, Roomies? Did Mustard get off the hook easy, as his lawyers say? Or is $24,500 per month still doing too much?
