Sky News contributor Megyn Kelly says former US president Donald Trump is exercising discipline in how he answers questions but is being “pessimistic” in his messaging.
Ms Kelly interviewed the former president, where he said the United States may not survive if he does not win the next election.
“It feels dystopian – so Trump is actually a very good messenger for that angst a lot of us are feeling,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“You can’t go out there every speech and every interview and just be dark.”
She added there is a “whole first term” reminding people of what he can do in the Oval Office.
