‘True colours’: Government ‘bowing to the lefties’ with Israel-Hamas ceasefire call

Sky News host Chris Kenny has slammed the Albanese government for allowing Australia to “bow to the lefties” after the Prime Minister called for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

The United Nations called for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza on Tuesday with Australia among those in favour of the resolution.

Mr Albanese released a joint statement with his Canadian and New Zealand counterparts on Wednesday, calling for steps towards a “sustainable ceasefire” in the war between Israel and Hamas.

“The sad thing is that Israel clearly can no longer rely on Australia for strong support,” Mr Kenny said.

“And even more tragically for Australia, this will just increase the vulnerability of the Jewish communities in Australia.”
