A quick riser through the A’s minor league system, second baseman Zack Gelof made his MLB debut in 2023 and made his presence felt immediately for the struggling franchise.Â
In 69 games played, the 24-year-old slashed .267/.337/.504 with 35 extra-base hits, 32 RBI and 14 stolen bases including becoming the fastest hitter to hit ten career home runs in  A’s franchise doing it in only 35 games.
