NDIS Minister Bill Shorten says the National Disability Insurance Scheme is “here to stay”.
Mr Shorten sat down with Sky News Australia on the eve of a crucial national cabinet meeting to nut out a response to a sweeping review into the spiralling costs and purpose of the NDIS.
“Listen, we’ll have to wait to see what the review actually says when I release it,” Mr Shorten said.
“But it’s about Labor’s commitment to make sure that it’s here for future generations.
“It’ll have these goals in mind.”
