A police manhunt that criss-crossed north London in the wake of the savage murders of a mother and two daughters came to a dramatic end last night when armed police swooped on a cemetery where they captured the injured suspect.
It concluded a day of horror in the market town of Bushey, Hertfordshire, in which 61-year-old Carol Hunt and her daughters Hannah (28) and Louise (25) were found with severe injuries, believed to have been inflicted with a crossbow, and later pronounced dead at their home.
