JAN. 19, 2024 – While winter weather school closures don’t happen often in Metro Vancouver, it’s still a challenge for parents who need to make last-minute child care arrangements – but a pleasant surprise for kids to get a day off.

Here’s a handy list of the schools around Metro Vancouver that have reported closures on Jan. 19, 2024.

Closures will be posted as they are announced. Districts are organized alphabetically and are followed by a list of post-secondary schools.

Most school districts report closures by 6:30 a.m. If it is later than that and no closure has been announced, assume the schools are open.
