You can get up to $1,000 in trade-in credit, which knocks the 256 GB model down to $600 and the 512 GB down to $920. If you opt for grey, black, cream or icy blue in the 1TB, you will save an additional $200 off the price plus the trade-in value (up to $1,000) meaning you can save as much as $1,200. 

The latest Apple and Samsung phones will net you the most credit, but even old and damaged phones will still net you a minimum discount of $300. Samsung also accepts select tablets and smartwatches for trade-in for a smaller discount.
