Longueuil police have turned to the public in an effort to determine whether there are more victims connected with a 49-year-old sexual assault suspect.
Nilton Carreiro was arrested Oct. 3 and faces charges of online luring of a person younger than 16, sexual contact and obtaining a sexual service from a minor through threats.

Carreiro has been released pending his next court appearance. He has been ordered by the court to have no contact with minors and stay off social media.
In a statement issued Wednesday morning, Longueuil police said their investigators think it “very possible” there are other underage victims in Longueuil or elsewhere in Quebec connected with Carreiro.
They allege the suspect approached his victims on social media platforms including OMEGLE and Snapchat, using the online handle Natethetate.
Police are urging anyone with any information that could further their investigation to contact them at 450-463-7211. All information will be treated confidentially
