NSW Police officers have gathered outside the Sydney Jewish Museum for an ongoing operation in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst.
NSW Police media have confirmed there is an operation underway however further details are set to be released.
Scenes have shown police cars outside the museum.
Darlinghurst Road has currently been closed off as a result.
The museum was founded in 1992 by Holocaust survivors who made new lives in Sydney after the war.
