Sky News host James Macpherson says Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has accused Woolworths of being more focussed on “woke” than customer service.
“Opposition Leader Peter Dutton took the extraordinary step today, calling on Australians to boycott Woolworths,” Mr Macpherson said.
“Now that’s not that difficult because increasingly most of us can’t afford to buy groceries but it wasn’t the cost of groceries, it was rather Woolworths’ decision not to stock Australia Day merchandise.
Mr Dutton labelled the decision an ‘outrage’ on 2GB Sydney on January 11.
“Peter Dutton has marched straight in, accusing the supermarket giant of being more focussed on woke than providing customer service for Australians.”
