It better be worth the crunch.
A mother was in shock after having to pay up $70 for a bowl of frosted flakes for her daughter at the renowned Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
A friend posted a TikTok of Kaitlin LeBeouf and her 4 year-old daughter dining at the Cinderella’s Royal Table resort restaurant when she asks the mother, “tell me what your kid got for $70?”
LeBeouf then gives a sarcastic, surprised look when asked and goes “frosted flakes” before trying to take away the bowl of cereal form her child to show viewers.
The daughter, at first reluctant to show the small bowl of cereal in her adorable Minnie Mouse headband, finally holds it up in front of the camera with a grin on her face.
“It taste better in Disney,” LeBeouf goes, calling the $70 bowl of frosted flakes “Cinderella cereal.”
Viewers were taken back by the insane price, let alone the prices in general Disney customers have revealed at the attraction park over the years.
“Nope. We’ve got cereal at home,” one user joked.
“This is why I’m nervous to take my kids to Disney 😂 my son would eat one chicken nugget and call it a day 😅,” a mother commented.
“Might as well just pay for Cinderella to come to your house lol probably cheaper,” another jokester replied.
Cinderella’s Royal Table prices are listed on Walt Disney’s website, charging $69 per adult and $42 per child — with gratuity included for both.
The breakfast menu has a wide variety of options, ranging from Traditional Breakfast to Caramel Apple-stuffed French Toast, Mickey-shaped Waffle, and more.
Though, LeBeouf’s daughter just wanted a bowl of cereal — which was on the menu but still doesn’t negate the price listings for Cinderella’s Royal Table.
Others seemed to lash out at the mother for seemingly fabricating the whole story and adding to the ongoing Disney gripes about prices.
“So you just made a video that’s a giant lie? What a clout chaser. Maybe make a factual video next time not scolding Disney?” a replier speculated.
“The whole breakfast is $69.99 and $42.00 for kids. Still expensive but [it’s] not $70 for just the cereal,” another person commented.
LeBeouf made an update video after receiving the mixed comments from viewers, saying “she was well aware of the prices” and the entire thing was posted as an “exaggeration.”
“Im a travel agent, well aware of the prices my friend was well aware of the prices. the entire thing was posted as a complete joke and an exaggeration.”
