Mary Lou McDonald hails significant moment of Sinn Fein first minister

Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald has said it will be a moment of “very great significance” when her party colleague Michelle O’Neill becomes first minister at Stormont. Speaking in the Great Hall at Stormont, Mrs McDonald said: “We are very pleased to stand before you on the cusp of the re-establishment of government here in the north, the establishment of the executive and a functioning Assembly.
