BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 24. New footage of
the airport in Azerbaijan’s Lachin liberated from occupation has
appeared, Trend
reports.
Video footage of the airport was shown on the Public Television
(İTV) channel.
Lachin International Airport is an international airport under
construction in Azerbaijan’s Lachin area, near Korchu village. The
airport will have the highest height in the country.
The runway will be 3,000 meters long, with six airplane parking
areas on the apron. The airport will take a variety of aircraft,
including freight planes.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed airport was held in
August 2021. Its construction is scheduled to be completed by
2025.
