In an update to their fans, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are expressing how grateful they are for their baby boy being safe and sound following an “urgent fetal surgery.”

Kourtney Kardashian Is “Forever Grateful” That Doctors Saved Her Baby
Kourtney spoke on the situation in an Instagram post on Wednesday (Sept. 6).
Beneath a photo of her and Travis holding hands, the 44-year-old said, “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.” She also gave Travis and her mother, Kris Jenner, a shoutout for being right by her side through the ordeal.
“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
Kardashian noted that, as she had “three really easy pregnancies in the past,” she “wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.” As a result, she has a “new understanding and respect” for mothers who have been in similar situations.
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
Kourtney Kardashian wrapped up her post by penning, “Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
Travis Barker Praises God & Gets Ready To Resume Touring
While on the subject, we should note that Travis’ band, Blink-182, recently had to postpone a series of shows in Ireland and the United Kingdom because of “an urgent family matter.” No further information was provided, though it’s clear that the matter was related to his unborn son.
After praising God in his own statement, Travis explained, “I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well.”
Now that Kourtney and their baby boy are in the clear, the tour is set to resume later this week.
