Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, MoveOn Political Action Executive Director Rahna Epting appeared on NBC’s Meet The Press NOW to discuss the GOP’s MAGA extremism and why it is backfiring with Americans. MAGA Republicans in Congress are pursuing a radical agenda including a baseless and partisan impeachment inquiry and wanting to shut down the government.
“Republicans have been on the ‘we’re going to impeach Biden’ beat since day one,” said Epting when discussing the impeachment inquiry, “What this really is, is they’re trying to distract from the fact that Trump has 91 indictments.”
Republicans are continuing to pursue dangerous culture wars and creating chaos to distract from the fact that they haven’t lifted a finger to pass crucial policies – all at the expense of the American people.”
