The teenager killed in a crash in County Sligo on Thursday has been named.
Rickie Devine (jnr) (19) died following a single-vehicle fatal road traffic collision on the N17 Sligo to Galway road at Ballinacarrow, Co. Sligo, shortly after 8.15 pm last Thursday.
He sustained serious injuries when the SUV he was driving veered off the road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Rickie is survived by his heartbroken parents Rickie and Eilish, his brothers Daniel and Darren, sisters Rachel and Elisha and extended family.

Rickie will repose at Larkhill, Ballymote on Saturday, February 24, from 5pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Monday to St. Kevin’s Church, Keash, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards at Knockbrack Cemetery.

“He always had a smile on his face and something funny to say when you came across him, He will be missed by all,” said one of the condolences.
“Rickie was a gentleman who was always up for the chat and the craic,” said another.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. Additionally, those with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are urged to provide it to investigating gardaí.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymote garda station at 071 918 9500, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
The local Coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination was carried with an Inquest likely to take place at a later date.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination of the scene.
An adult male passenger was assessed at the scene by emergency services personnel but did not require immediate hospital treatment.
