NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unleashed a scathing attack on Congress and said that dubbed the party as a ‘loot ki dukaan’ and ‘jhooth ka bazaar”.Addressing an election rally in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, the prime minister said that ever since Congress came to power in Rajasthan, “it has created another identity of corruption, crime and appeasement”.

“‘Congress ka matlab hai loot ki dukan, jhooth ka bazaar’. Farmers of Rajasthan have suffered the most due to the Congress government. Ever since the Congress government came to power in Rajasthan, what did they do? For 4 years, the entire Congress party and the government have been fighting among themselves. Everyone is pulling each other’s legs,” PM Modi said.

“We send schemes from Delhi to Rajasthan but in Jaipur the Congress claws at them. Congress has nothing to do with Rajasthan’s problems and your problems. The Congress government is also troubled by the BJP’s plan to provide benefits to every household. Congress has only done harm to the state in the past years,” he added.

PM Modi also held a road show accompanied by cyclists in Bikaner. Earlier today, the Prime Minister launched development projects worth Rs 24,000 crores in Rajasthan.

Modi dedicated to people a six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor, the first phase of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor, a Bikaner-to-Bhiwadi transmission line and a 30-bed Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospital.He also laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Bikaner railway station and the doubling of the 43-km-long Churu-Ratangarh section.(With agency inputs)
