Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro in China, and the company has officially disclosed the tablet’s design and key features ahead of its launch. The tablet follows a design language akin to other models in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, including the Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. Notably, only the base variant of this series has been introduced in the Indian market, and Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the potential launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro in India.
According to a report by Gadgets 360, in an announcement on Weibo, Xiaomi revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is scheduled for a China launch on February 22 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). The company also disclosed that the tablet will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and will run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS out of the box. The shared images by Xiaomi showcase the tablet’s compatibility with a magnetic keyboard and stylus.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro has been officially confirmed to feature a 12.4-inch LCD panel boasting a 3K resolution, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and an aspect ratio of 3:2. Additionally, the tablet will support 120W wired fast charging and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Further details about the device are expected to be unveiled as the launch date approaches.
According to earlier leaks, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is anticipated to offer support for up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. It is also rumoured to come equipped with a 10,000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel primary rear camera.
It’s worth noting that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro features an 11-inch 2.8K (1,800 x 2,880 pixels) LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and an 8,600mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. The tablet runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 and is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Price
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is positioned as the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which was initially introduced in China at a starting price of CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs 28,500) for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
The tablet is available in various configurations, including 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB, priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 32,000), CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 35,700), and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs 39,000), respectively.
