Shadow Resources Minister Susan McDonald has slammed the federal and Queensland government’s ban on gillnet fishing.
Ms McDonald says it is one of “the most shocking things” she’s seen in her time in parliament.
“UNESCO is running the show – determining policies for Australian agriculture,” she said.
“They are directing the Labor government … about banning gillnet fishing.
“It is devastating to see that no science is being used at all.”
