Van Oord is bolstering its footprint in Singapore and Indonesia with the acquisition of Delta Marine Consultants from BAM Infraconsult.
The Dutch marine construction firm said the addition of combined teams from Delta Marine Consultants Singapore and Delta Marine Consultants Indonesia would bring dedicated expertise in coastal engineering and design of maritime structures, as well as in-depth 3D drawing and modelling capabilities.
“The acquisition is fully in line with Van Oord’s strategy to build a synergistic portfolio of marine businesses, and strengthens our engineering capabilities to address increasing project complexity and demand for integrated solutions,” the company said.
Transaction details for which Van Oord stated it is convinced would be of added value to its offshore energy and dredging and infrastructure units have not been disclosed.
