    Fright Krewe Trailer

“He’s a demon who feeds off fear!” “We can’t stop that!” Peacock / Hulu have unveiled the first trailer for a new animated series mainly aimed at kids titled Fright Krewe, created by DreamWorks Animation. The concept is from Eli Roth and writer James Frey, and the series takes place in New Orleans, described as one of the spookiest animated series created by DreamWorks so far. An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries. But, honestly? Saving the world might just be easier than becoming friends. The animated series stars the voices of Sydney Mikayla, Tim Johnson Jr, Grace Lu, Chester Rushing, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Jacques Colimon, and Vanessa Hudgens. This looks like a twist on Scooby Doo but if it was in New Orleans, with a goofy group of young “heroes” who get chased by scary ghosts. Looks possibly amusing though there doesn’t seem to be anything new or clever going on here. Check it out below anyway.

Here’s the first official trailer for DreamWorks TV’s series Fright Krewe, direct from YouTube:

An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries! The team is catapulted into learning about the town’s biggest secret – that vampires, rougarous, ghosts, monsters and demons are in fact very real. But, honestly? “Saving the world” might be easier than becoming friends. Fright Krewe is a series created by horror filmmaker Eli Roth – plus writer / producer / director James Frey, writer of the two books I Am Number Four and A Million Little Pieces, and also an executive producer on the series “American Gothic” and “Relationship Status”. It’s written by Scott Damian and James Frey. Executive produced by Eli Roth, James Frey, Joanna Lewis, and Kristine Songco. Made by DreamWorks Animation. Peacock will debut the Fright Krewe streaming on both Hulu and Peacock starting October 2nd, 2023 this fall. Anyone into this?
