What it is: A limited-edition collection of eyeshadow palettes from the luxury French brand Chanel.
Influenced by the Byzantine elements that inspired founder Gabrielle Chanel’s original jewelry creations, the collection of eyeshadow quads each boast four colour collections that mirror the “dazzling” opulence of gemstones such as emerald and ruby.

What we say: These limited-edition eyeshadow palettes offer precious, gemstone-inspired shades for your lids, our tester reports.
From the luxe packaging to the pigmented pressed powders inside, they’re a true makeup treat. Our tester found the eyeshadows to be wonderfully wearable and easy to apply, yielding buildable colour that could be customized to suit one’s makeup preference.
Among the four shades collections on offer, Parure Vénitienne became a fast favourite. The palette’s soft gold, peach, dark brown and pearlescent white-green shades provided a nice mix of options to create both daytime and evening eye-makeup looks.
