It should’ve been a fun day at the beach for a group of furries in California.

But instead, a man wearing a black wolf costume got into a scuffle with a man who was recording them.

The incident took place at Huntington Beach during a sunset beach bonfire “furmeet” over the weekend.
According to video posted on Twitter, it appeared to start after a man filming the group shoved his phone in the face of one furry who warned him to leave.
A clip posted by user @doginreal, who has since protected their tweets, was retweeted by Furry Raiders and shows the man filming a group of people in animal costumes.

He focused on someone in a black wolf costume, who told the filmer to leave.
The man, sticking out like a sore thumb in a black t-shirt, jeans and grey cap, continued filming when the wolf held a megaphone to his mouth and threatened the onlooker, “Leave or we will make you leave.”
The man didn’t leave so the wolf hit the man on the head with the megaphone.

One of the cameraman’s pals tried to jump in to defend him while another furry joined in the fight.
Bystanders and passersby watched in shock and awe while others jumped in to break up the sandy brawl.
California State Parks officers showed up to the scene after the brawl ended but it is unclear if anyone was charged.
